This is a very high end, basic range. My repair man recommend I try a Frigidaire and it does not disappoint. Surface burners are so powerful compared to my previous stove top, take a little adjusting getting used to the high temp. Very quiet when igniting that i can't really tell if it is still on. Highly reommend

When I was a little kid Frigidaire meant the refrigerator. So I was surprised to find this exceptional brand also made other kitchen appliances. When my 22 year old stove bit the dust right before Thanksgiving I knew I needed a new stove delivered soon. This Frigidaire model had all the features I wanted. The iron grids on the top are super sturdy. Having 5 burners is a real plus. Who knew? And I don't know how they do it but the Quick Boil is indeed quick! I haven't used the steam option for cleaning yet but I know it will be as good as promised. The storage drawer has a nice capacity...more than my 22 year old one had. My only problem, which cost my overall rating one of the stars, has nothing to do with the stove's function but appearance. I would have preferred solid flat side panels instead of the grooved ones which would work on a stove fully inserted in a kitchen design, but my stove has one side exposed.

I like the gas stove. However, the oven timer does not work and occasionally I smell gas when walking past the stove: the stove is not on but I smell gas. It's not all the time.Regarding the timer, I have read and followed the directions in the user guide and tried to set it several times. I press the timer button then the up arrow to chose the number of minutes and press Start. I get 3 beeps and the time disappears in about 5 seconds.I've had to use a separate timer when baking.Please advise me about the listed problems.

Love this stove! The big cast iron grates are awesome! All one level surface so u can easily move a pot to the back to cool while cooking something else. Burners are so easy to clean! Love how they can be taken apart by just lifting. I like how the broiler is inside the oven. No getting on your hands and knees to broil in the bottom drawer. Nice big bottom drawer for storage.

I was very happy with my new stove BUT not now. I haven™€™t had it in my house for 30 days and the oven is not working. Started oven night before last put food in to warm, went back to check and oven was cold. Pulled food out of oven went got other meat and made dinner. Read the book later saidvifbclicks not set oven won™€™t work so I checked the clock bumped it up then back to correct time. Turned oven in it light so figured we™€™d had a flash of power that stopped that but didn™€™t change click back to flashing 12 like book said it would. Came home j K ast night turned oven on to warm to 325 put the food from night before in oven and did some other things around the house while waiting. Heard the beep telling me the oven had reached the 325 looked at the clock so I knew what time I could take out if the oven. Went to get dinner out of oven temp said 177 degrees checked food it was at 137 degrees was already cooked just heating up. I like my food hot not just warm tried to get oven to start again it would not so ate very like warm food. Called place bought at waiting fir service now. It™€™s not even 30 days old not their fault but very irritating had plans on baking today and baked goods promised for this weekend

Our previous Frigidaire gas range served us well for over 20 years. The only thing we had to replace was the ignitors. We took advantage of a great price on a new gas range with the latest technology and love it. I took the griddle grate from the old range and cut off the handles allowing us to have a mobile griddle top for our new stove! Win and win!

The stove is fine as stoves go, but I wish I had looked at this stove more before I bought it. My previous stove was a Frigidaire, which I liked immensely, but the electronic panel went bad and couldn't be replaced because parts were no longer available. I have 3 issues with this new stove. 1) apparently you cannot use the timer without the oven turning off when the timer runs out. Many times when baking you have a minimum time for which you set the timer to check the item being baked and you can add time on if needed; with this oven, the timer beeps and the oven turns off. Highly inconvenient. 2) the oven light does not come on when you open the door; trivial, I know, but also inconvenient. 3) the broiler is flameless, which I did not expect from a gas stove. It will take time for me to get used to an electric coil for broiling. Had I known about these features, I would not have bought this stove.

I found it seemed extremely cheaply made, the corners are not sealed, it looks like the ones you used to buy for $150, not $750. I am exchanging it for a Kitchenaid, just not happy with it. The salesman told me it came with a griddle, one was in the bottom drawer at the store which made the drawer seem heavy. Once received at home, the drawer was so flimsy, maybe weighed 2 or 3 lbs, very cheap. And it has a very thin see through film on it you had to remove, it was almost impossible. But I did manage to get most off. It's stuck in the seams though. Maybe once used it would burn off. And it looks like it should have cabinets on each side, the sides are ugly and thats the first thing you see when you walk in my house. So I must return it.

The stove was bought and had to be converted to propane.. Was a lot more complicated than previous Frigidaire, but perhaps standards have changed, The only thing i was surprised at, is the broiler is electric. My old stove had a gas broiler. I do like the grates going over the complete top, easy to move pots, and the clean up below them is easy.
