Professional delivery and installation is available for every product we sell. We would be happy to coordinate delivery and installation for you.

Extended warranties are usually very inexpensive and can save you thousands in the future. Some can even cover extra costs that result, such as cost of food that spoils when your fridge dies. It's simple and inexpensive to purchase extended warranties and one of the smartest ways to protect your investment.

Appliances can be large, heavy and expensive. You probably don't have the special tools or expertise needed to fix them in a crisis. If you can spare a few thousand dollars without batting an eyelash for new appliances should they break tomorrow, don't buy a warranty. But if you're like most of us, protect yourself by purchasing inexpensive extended warranties when you buy a new product and save yourself big money in the long run.

Nice performance and love the Chef Connect feature

Marioochi 8/19/2026

We love this cooktop, easy to clean, heats quickly and better safety with young kids in the house. We love the large element which easily fits out large Dutch ovens. Never had an issue with our pans not getting recognized and the wifi and Chef Connect feature syncs flawlessly with our GE OTR lights and fan. This is a nice feature you normally only find in higher end brands. Overall love the performance! The only negative: The "Precission Cooking" is pretty useless, unless you have a bluetooth probe or niche smart pans which no longer support an app, this feature is useless so don't buy this cooktop if this is something you really want. For standalone temperature control, get a Bosch

small pot surface area's 1inch smaller then our older cook top, instead of 1 8", 2 7" and 1 6", we got 1 7", 2 6" and 1 5" cooking surface areas. That makes a big difference when you are using pots sized for the older cook top. Also the temp. usage settings only work on you purchasing new expensive pans. This made the purchase not worth it. Please do your research before buying.

Third-Rate Cooktop

Not To GE Standard 12/13/2025

This cooktop has required six service calls since installation July 2024. Every component has been replaced, leaving us repeatedly without food prep for weeks. It has now stopped working altogether again. GE has a design approach of repair-by-replacement. Spencer's/GE Service (Bodewell)/GE Regional Rep has been of no support. We continued to urgently request replacement out of fear of an electrical fire and inability to cook for the past year. We also argued the can was getting kicked down the 1-year OEM warranty road until it expired. We are now stuck with a third-party extended warranty that Spencer's sold us instead of the OEM GE/Bodewell one. Spencer's stated we chose to not act quickly enough to demand replacement during the factory warranty. GE has stated it cannot replace the cooktop since the factory warranty has expired and had not purchased the right warranty. We had three warranty calls before requesting Spencer's and the GE rep replacement of the cooktop. Spencer's informed us there is no Lemon Law covering appliances in Arizona. Three more repair calls were made and ultimately the mother board had to be replaced April 2025. The cooktop worked fine until November 2025. We waited patiently to post a product review based on GE's position for covering this defective cooktop, hoping for a positive outcome. GE's position is we are outside the 1-year warranty period and have a third-party extended warranty that is not recognized by GE.

inconsistent burners

unhappy mom too 10/30/2025

Left front and rear burners are the same wattage and supposed to be identical. However my 8" frypan works on the back burner but not the front. GE says it's the pan. I say it's the tolerances and that the front burner assembly has an issue. If you buy GE, know that some of your induction pans that have worked on inexpensive induction burners for years may not work on this expensive unit, but you will not get resolution from GE. I would not buy GE again.

New model is worst

GunVag 9/11/2025

Based on the good performance of old (2015-22) GE Profile PHP9030SJSS, I replaced the same GE induction cooktop. Unfortunately the new model has below issues: !) All my small pots working on the old model are not working on the new model. 2) The burners some time stop working. 3) High pitch sound comes while starting small burner when big burners is in use.

Nothing but a runaround

9999999999999 8/19/2025

I purchased this cooktop and it was supposed to come with a free Hestan Que smart pan. I purchased the cooktop in March and submitted all the documentation shortly after. It's been months, my submission has been approved, I call GE and they tell me to call the GE Promotions folks repeatedly and also the folks at Hestan. All I get is the runaround and repeated assurances the pan is coming. It's been five months and still no pan.

Best induction cooktop at this price range

jimithing 5/17/2025

This is my first induction cooktop. I've been using it for a couple of months now and, so far, it's great. Much better than my old radiant heat glass cooktop. The good: It boils water very fast and is very responsive to changing the temperature. It also feels like the heat recovers faster when I'm adding things to a pan. For instance, searing a roast - I can turn to all sides of the roast and it seems to sear it the same on all sides. With my radiant heat cooktop, it would sear the first side well because I had preheated the pot but every additional side, it seared less and less to the point where it just kind of turned into cooking and not searing. Spills are so much easier to clean than on a radiant heat cooktop. The bad: First, temperature controls at the top end leave something to be desired. At the low end of the temperature controls, there's very fine controls so you can increase or decrease the heat very slightly. That's great but at the top end of the heat controls, there are larger temperature gaps between each adjustment up or down. This is a problem when I'm trying to control liquids. Cooking pasta for instance - sometimes I struggle to get the temperature at a good place for boiling. The water is either barely simmering or boiling to the point where it's splashing water out of the pot. And this is before even adding the pasta. Same kind of problem if I'm making a large pot of soup/stock or something. Second, the buzzing. You've probably read about this with induction. It's definitely a thing and it's mostly a non-issue. When I'm using a large pot/pan and using anything less than 75% power, I don't really hear anything. But if I'm using a smaller pot, say 3 quarts, the buzzing is noticeable at anything above ~25% power. You get used to it I guess. Wish it wasn't a thing. All in all, I would definitely choose induction again over the traditional radiant electric cooktops. For health/respiratory reasons, I would also choose induction again over gas cooktops. I think this particular cooktop the best available at this price range.

Excellent controls and sleek design

RolMed 4/26/2025

I can't believe I waited so long to switch to an induction cooktop! This appliance has completely transformed my cooking experience. From the moment I turned it on, I was blown away by how fast it heats up ™€" water boils in mere minutes, and sautÃing has never been more precise. Temperature control is incredibly accurate, allowing me to simmer delicate sauces without fear of burning or jump straight to high heat for a perfect sear. The surface stays cool to the touch, which not only feels safer but also makes clean-up a breeze ™€" no more scrubbing burnt-on spills! Design-wise, it™€™s sleek, modern, and fits beautifully into my kitchen aesthetic. It™€™s also energy-efficient, and I™€™ve already noticed a difference in my electric bill. Plus, the child-lock and auto-shutoff features give me extra peace of mind. Highly, highly recommend!

Had an older 2015 GE induction which I loved. Glass broke and got one in 2023 that is horrible. Burners vary when and if they will accept pan size. Burners despite multiple settings are too hot or not hot enough! Old one really did have 20 settings. I would say this has 3! Very disappointed. Looking for a replacement .

Room for improvement

A guy in his kitchen 4/22/2024

Countertop gasket wasn't pre-installed, instead it came in a crumpled mess. Getting a proper seal was challenging. Also after using it for a few weeks, we find that pans hum, buzz, or vibrate with this cooktop. Multi layer cookware (5+) isn't supposed to do this, however it still does. Not sure if the quality of this GE Profile Induction cooktop is up to par or not.

Very poor life expectancy.

Yodee 3/24/2024

Very disappointed in the longevity of our GE induction cooktop. Purchased one 6.5 years ago and it suddenly displayed an error message and would not work. Repairman looked up the part for replacement and it would cost $1300 without the labour. For a $2100+ appliance, to have to pay over 1/2 the cost of a new one for repair is ridiculous. Our landfills are filling up rapidly due to companies like this making ™€œdisposable™€ appliances!!!! GE used to be considered a good name for appliances, sadly it seems they are getting to be just like all the rest.

Woo hoo

Prav600 3/7/2024

This cooktop has just been installed. I would give it a five-star review, but I want to check it out over time, not just in a few weeks. Here are my first impressions: - The heat level is very responsive and adjustable. My interim cooktop was a lower-end (less expensive) electric cooktop. It had two settings: high and low. This cooktop is immediately responsive to changes due to the induction heating. I can change the level, and I instantly know the difference. - It cleans up better I don't know why, but cleaning this cooktop is much easier than the other. Items do not stick and do not need as much scrubbing. - Controls Yes, this is only partially intuitive, but it is an excellent set of controls. Once understood, they are easy to use. Wifi has not been used.

Induction fans for life

LowT 2/6/2024

This is our second induction cooktop, the first being a Viking Professional that lasted 20 years. The absolute key to a great experience, with induction, is predicated on the cookware employed. The better the cookware, the better and more efficient, the magnetic resonance generators perform as the cookware becomes the heating element. Additionally, being familiar with each elements wattage, is also key. Our GE Profile Cafe™€™ ranges from 1800W in the smallest element to 3700W in the largest element. Functionality with today™€™s induction is significantly more diverse, with the ability to sync elements or link to WiFi, as examples. But nothing beats the true test of placing a $10 bill between the element and pan of water and boiling the water as fast as possible. Then remove the pan and immediately pick up the $10 bill. It an absolute lesson in efficient induction cooking. Induction is less costly, more proficient and incorporates inherent safety features making it our choice. using induction

Learning to use induction

Inductiondan 1/31/2024

Bought induction due to environmental concerns about gas. Technology allows quick heating response. We had to replace our non-magnetic material cookware. Also have concerns about two of the burners not staying energized when activated. Could be an issue with the percentage of iron in the pans. Keeping the glass surface clean and unscratched requires careful cleaning each time. GE Profile was significantly cheaper than Bosch. Hope we made the right choice.

Happy with the switch from gas to induction

JC20430 12/16/2023

We had a gas cooktop and decided to change to induction. We verified that there was compatible amperage and circuit breaker but we needed to make additional cuts in our granite (things you need to verify before ordering and installing). I already had compatible cookware so I only needed to purchase a few non-stick skillets. It is easy to use and boils water rapidly. I did not realize, however, that the pan size has to be the same as the burner or it will not work. That is the only tricky aspect I've discovered thus far but it makes sense. I appreciate the lock feature, to not accidentally activate the burners. But, if a pan is not placed on the burner within a certain time it shuts off. There is a strange sound that comes from using the bridge feature, but just something to get used to. All in all, and so far, I love this cooktop, the features, and the aesthetic appearance.

Nice looking

Nice cooktop except I™€™m disappointed my large soup pot doesn™€™t work on the large burner even though it™€™s more than the required 7 inches.

Great replacement for my gas cooktop. Easy to install, heats up quickly and easy to operate.

The induction cook top is just wonderful. Love it.

We needed a new cook top, so we decided top stay with GE, because of the quality and appearance of the product.

Good Controls

PineappleJ 11/14/2023

Generally good performance. The controls are fairly intuitive and I like that it has a lot of temperature levels. Doesn't seem as sensitive to ferrous materials as my last induction cooktop though. It doesn't seem to work with pans that only have an iron plate on the bottom with non-iron sides.

WORST COMPANY TO BUY PRODUCTS FROM

TESPU 11/8/2023

I would give multiple negative starts if I could. Dealing with GE was the worst experience in my life. The unit comes advertized with several features, however, some of these features DO NOT exist. For eg multi element timer. One of the main reasons to buy this over the cheaper models was this feature. After MULTIPLE attempts and HOURS spent with GE with MULTIPLE customer service reps, the answer was 'YES, THE FEATURES DO NOT EXIST BUT WE CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT'. This is DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. NEVER BUYING GE PRODUCTS EVER.
