Loved this Bosch 800 Series (SHPM65Z55N) for nearly 5 years - quiet, reliable, never a warranty claim. Then it died with a flashing red light (failed door latch sensor). Bosch quoted a $199 call-out fee plus $24 per 6 min labor - ~$440/hr before parts, nearly half what I paid. They refused to waive the fee even after 5 claim-free years. A premium brand should back its product. Loved the machine, but won't buy Bosch again.

This dishwasher works well..gets the dishes very clean with a very low sound factor..(I'd did not want a lot of noise when running)The top(3rd)rack is good for the silverware... I don't like the silverware basket..although it fits a lot of silverware, it's a small basket and moves around the area that's it set in..almost seems like it was an afterthought.. it took a bit to get used to the way the tines were slanted and it seems to not hold as much as our previous (GE monogram) but one of the main reasons I wanted to get rid of the GE was the weight/size of the door..5"longer and very heavy.. this one has a good weight..easy for someone with arthritis to handle. I do like the adjustable rack.. have used it a few times and it's helpful if you have something taller. It also have very long programs if you want the good drying..(there's a speed cycle-60 mins with limited drying). but all the others I've used so far ar 2 hours or longer but it does say it only uses 2.5 gallons water even though it takes so long.. But other than these few things, (which is why the 4 stars) it's a good dishwasher but next time I might upgrade to the Benchmark Bosch..wasn't told about it til after we purchased this one...we thought this one was the best.. although I saw the size of the door is larger so it might've been as heavy as the monogram...but I would've liked to been shown that and compared the two. (looks like the pricing wasn't that much different).

While I like how quiet this dishwasher is, I don't like the configuration of the bottom rack nor the small silverware holder. Neither of these kept me from buying it though. Just a personal preference.

Yep, it's that QUIET. Thank goodness for the little red light on the floor that tells me it's still running or it's done.
My Bosch from 12 years ago was going strong when we sold that house so I made sure we put a Bosch in the new home. I appreciate the adjustability of the top cutlery tray that now lets me put ramekins and little dishes up top. However...I REALLY MISS the full length utensil holder on the bottom rack. As well as the tall rack thingie that was great for washing a vase or a tall mug on the bottom rack. I know it's available as an accessory but at the Bosch price point....c'mon.
Drying, especially plastic, is always dicey in a dishwasher and this one is GOOD at it. Sure, there are a few drops here and there on the plastic, but it's very minimal. I also appreciate the adjustability (in the app) for the level of JetDri you want to use in each wash.
5 Stars for this dishwasher---and with any luck it is as reliable over the long haul as my last one was.

This is my first new dishwasher in over 12 years. The DW does a great job cleaning my dishes, however, the racks feel much cheaper than those in previous dishwashers. Not waht I would expect with paying over $1000 for the dishwasher. I also don't like the fact that I have to use the app for delayed start. I miss having the delayed start button on the dishwasher itself.

We have been delighted with our Bosch dishwasher. So many good ideas incorpated into it and far less issues than we have had with other brands over the last 29 years. I was able to install it myself and we try to follow the recommendation to not clean the dishes TOO much. We thought we'd miss the large silverware basket but the top 3rd rack takes care of that. The Bosch basket could click in more securely but that's minor. The WiFi connection is great for getting status on how it's running but a clearer notification that it needs the rinse agent to be refilled would be helpful. So it works quietly, cleans extremely well, sanitizes and holds a lot. But that's not the best part! The BEST part is that it has made UNloading so much easier and faster. The silverware up so no bending and, if you group the type of utensil together (all the teaspoons together) you can grab a handjul and put them away--you already sorted them. We usually run it overnight because it's so quiet. It's been a great purchase.

We've bought three Bosch dishwashers for different houses, including our daughters over the years and have found them to have major repair cost within five years that doesn't justify them needing a repair. I would look for a brand that is more reliable or by the five-year service warranty. Two of the dishwashers leaked from the bottom and all three of them had similar repair needs regarding drainage issues. When they do work, they do work well. Will not purchase again based on poor reliability and poor Customer Service

I purchased this model specifically because it has a delay feature. I didn't realize that the delay could ONLY be scheduled via the app that needs to be connected to this dishwasher. It's fine to build smart features that can be tracked via an app, but to remove a common delay that has been available on many dishwashers in the past via on-dishwasher controls is a step backwards. This sours my experience with using Bosch appliances in the future.

So quiet I can't here it run. For the reason it shines a red light on the floor to indicate it's running. When it's done it send me a email. Also very good job of cleaning too. Not inexpensive but you get what you pay for.

We replaced our five year old GE Profile dishwasher and it's been fantastic. It's so quiet! You can't even tell it's running. It feels well built and is easy to load. Kitchen cleanup is easier and we are very happy with this purchase.

The wonder on our faces when we ran this for the first time and had to triple check that it was, indeed, running! And then to see what an incredible job of cleaning dishes and glasses this miracle worker did!
We even show it off to house guests and they are amazed as well.

Her name is Rosa. She replaced Hilda, also a Bosch. Hilda grew old and retired from her job. Rosa is absolutely wonderful. She is new and improved along with the upper drawer for all those things I had to find a place for in Hilda.

I chose the Bosch dishwasher series 800 after extensive research. There is no question that It is a solid build equipment. The arrangement of the drawers are logical and convenient. My only wish was to see a full length cutlery basket.

We have been very impressed with this dishwasher. It has been extremely easy to use and the dishes come out very clean. Having the third rack on top has been really nice with cleaning smaller items that would take up too much room on the lower shelves.
This unit runs extremely quiet and it's nice having the red light to let us know when it's running.
I do appreciate having the mobile app. The app lets me see how much time is remaining, offers tips on how to extend the life of the unit, and allows me to run special programs.
Overall, we've been very impressed with this dishwasher and the value of provides.

Love my Bosch dishwasher! This is my second one. The first one lasted 7yrs., and I hope that this one lasts longer. I bought the same model, but it appears that the new one is a lot quieter, which is wonderful! It also has a few new features that are wonderful, too. All in all I won't buy anything but a Bosch for my dishwasher.

I purchased a Bosch dishwasher because of its reputation for quality, reliability, and longevity. As someone who doesn't typically spend this kind of money on appliances, I viewed it as a long-term investment and expected exceptional performance. Unfortunately, my experience has been disappointing.
First, the drying performance has not lived up to expectations. The interior of the dishwasher often remains damp after a cycle, and there is a lingering odor inside the machine I did not expect from a brand-new appliance.
The detergent dispenser is another frustration. Closing the dispenser requires a surprising amount of precision. Instead of simply clicking shut, I often have to try two or three times before the small latch finally engages. It may seem like a minor issue, but when you're using the dishwasher daily, those little annoyances add up.
I was also under the impression modern premium dishwashers could handle dishes that were scraped but not pre-rinsed. In my experience, dishes that go in with normal food residue frequently come out needing additional cleaning. That was one of the features I was most looking forward to, and it has not met my expectations.
I also experienced a white film on my dishes. I eventually resolved the issue by placing a bowl of vinegar in the dishwasher during a cycle, but I don't believe a premium dishwasher should require household chemistry experiments to produce sparkling clean dishes.
To be fair, the dishwasher is quiet, attractive, and well-designed in many respects. However, for a product positioned as a premium appliance, I expected a more user-friendly experience and better cleaning and drying performance right out of the box.
Maybe my expectations were too high, but when you purchase a Bosch, you're not buying a dishwasher-you're buying the dream you've finally reached the dishwasher promised land. So far, I've arrived, but I'm still looking for the promised land part.

Would highly recommend this dishwasher. It is pretty quiet, does a great job cleaning and connecting with the app gives some delayed start options and other cleaning functionality. I wish you had that functionally without the app but not a deal breaker.

We've had a few dishwashers over the years and always bought the brand that matched our other appliances. I always figured they were all the same. We just replaced our GE dishwasher with the Bosch. Wow, mind blown. Every day we do a Bosch dishwasher challenge. Dried on oatmeal, marinara sauce, French onion soup, dried on cheese. You name it, put it in, no rinsing, just load it up. Everything comes out spotless, every time. I guess someday we'll get used to having a dishwasher that cleans everything you put in, but not yet. I forgot, toaster oven trays with burnt on food, spotless. Will never buy a different brand again. 👍👍👍

Good diswasher but setting delayed and scheduled start times are confusing and difficult both on the panel and with the Connect App. Still trying to figure this out. Everything I have tried has not worked. If doing over would select a more simple version of a diswasher

The dryer looks good and does a good job of washing and drying dishes. The lack of a heating element is a plus. The rack tines are all angled, which makes some items difficult to place. It does a good job with glassware. Overall, it feels like it holds less than my old Jenn-Air. There is no indication that the wash cycle is complete, only a red light while it is running.

We replaced a high end Fisher & Paykel dishwasher with the Bosch 800 series. We are amazed at how this Bosch dishwaser out performs any dishwasher we have ever owned. Anyting you put in it comes out spotless and completely dry with no water spots. It's just a great appliance and quiet.

Purchased based on reviews and solid recommendations regarding Bosch dishwashers.
Problem 1: "Crystal Dry" is not effective. No matter how the dishes are loaded, a significant amount of them are always wet, even an hour after the wash finishes.
Problem 2: The loading and racking configuration is poor. It lacks much-needed spline configuration and flexibility. The end result is an inefficient load configuration that requires me to run 2 cycles to get all dishes washed.
Problem 3: The washer is quiet, but it is SLOW. It takes too long to run even the 60-minute cycle (which is longer than 60 minutes). Other cycles take ~3 hours to complete.
Problem 4: No rinse-only cycle. There are times when I don't want to run a full cycle, but rather want to run a quick rinse and dry. The washer is "on rails" - lacks the flexibility and performance to remain in my house. I'm returning it.

I'm really enjoying my new dishwasher. Simple to use. Super quick. Quiet. Impressed. My only concern is, I have the matching refrigerator, the metal skin is extremely prone to dents. I hope this won't be true for the dishwasher.

While in the market for a new dishwasher we originally went with another brand that started to leak out the door. When talking to the store rep it was discovered it's a known issue and there is no fix for the leak. We ordered this Bosch dishwasher and waited for it to be delivered. On the delivery day the delivery company gave our dishwasher to the wrong person on the route and tried to give us a cheap dishwasher instead. The store refunded the cost and we reordered the dishwasher from another store. The second store was able to get us the dishwasher in less than a week. With all that being said and the headaches we went through this is still the best dishwasher I have ever purchased. It always cleans and dries the dishes even plastic all the way. We will be a Bosch appliance household from here on out. We have absolutely no cons about this dishwasher.

What a relief and a pleasure to finally find a dishwasher we can rely on not only to do a good job washing dishes, but to keep our hardwood floor dry as well. Having gone through two washers off another brand (I won't mention the maker, but their initials are G and E) that both leaked from the first day of installation, changing to Bosch made it all right. Solidly built and engineered to do the job right, our Bosch 800 hasn't shed a single drop of water on our floor. Fantastic in comparison to that other brand that leaked every time. We're very happy with our selection and recommend it to everyone, including you.

I have had this dishwasher for two months. My last dishwasher was 19 years old and it also was a Bosch. I really like how the shelves are laid out. The top flat shelve is great. It is also very quiet. The red light that shines on the floor is the only way I know it is still running.
